I’m back in Poland for my week-long program break. I haven’t been here since my three-month sojourn to Kraków two summers ago. The winter here really is quite a different animal and it definitely taking some getting used to, especially after having embraced spring in Paris.
I’m really enjoying visiting family again and enjoying some down-time from school. I know I have three massive papers due when I get back, on top of some exposés due on Monday for two different classes — but if my train journey to Prague comes through, I’ll have 7 hours (one way) to get a ton of work done!
For now, I’ve enjoyed walking around the city, getting reacclimated to the familiar streets and of course the street vendors with their baked wares! I’m not really looking to do too many touristy things here, mostly relax, eat well and visit with family. But if I have some interesting sights to post, I’ll be sure to share them.

    About

I'm a third year University of Chicago student with a concentration in Political Science and a minor in French Language and Literature. In the Winter of 2009, I'll fulfill my dream of studying abroad in Paris, with an enrollment in a ten-week social sciences program.

I've always been passionate about La Ville-Lumiere, and I'll try to take in as much of this magnificent city as I can ... naturally with camera in hand & blogging on my mind.

I hope you enjoy my sometimes ramblings as I try to jot down my manifold experiences. If you're so inclined, you could even buy me a croissant!

    Contact

You can try to reach me via skype, but an e-mail would be just as nice. For the really ambitious, I also have an mailing address at my dormitory:
